What is an Amazon FNSKU?

FNSKU is an acronym for Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit. It is how Amazon identifies products as unique to a seller. Amazon fulfillment centers use the FNSKU number to easily identify and track your products and are used during the fulfillment process.
What type of barcode do you use for Amazon labels?

You have a couple of options for Amazon labels.
If Amazon is fulfilling your orders, you have the option of using a unique barcode provided by Amazon called an FNSKU or using a UPC number. We typically print these on 2" x 1" paper labels.
FNSKU is an acronym for Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit barcode. Amazon provides FNSKU barcodes at no cost to you.
A UPC is a 12 digit number you purchase from a company called GS1.org. There are other sources to purchase UPC numbers, but Amazon typically requires UPC barcode numbers be purchased from GS1.org.
If you are fulfilling orders yourself, the 12-digit UPC number is typically used. However, you can also use the FNSKU barcode provided by Amazon. Which option you select depends upon your preference and if you've already purchased UPC numbers for selling your products through other outlets.
What size label do you recommend for Amazon FNSKU labels?

Our most popular label size for FNSKU labels is 2.0" x 1.0" paper label. However, the size of your label and material will depend upon the size of your product and material to which the label will be applied. A paper label works perfect for most applications. For products that are curved or will be exposed to the elements, a synthetic rugged durability label may be a better choice.
